Outlier Moving Pictures

When Jack learned that one of the centerpieces of Donald Trump's promise to return manufacturing jobs to America, the 2017 Foxconn project, a state of the art "Generation 10.5" facility that would manufacture LCD monitors and create up to 13,000 jobs, was located only a couple of hours from Pam's hometown, Jack researched and wrote a poem about how the project had fared by the end of 2020. Then we went to Mount Pleasant in Racine County, Wisconsin, to see Foxconn for ourselves. The resulting film interweaves Jack's poem, our original footage, and news coverage openly available on the internet to show just what this project contributed to "making America great again."
